Social Activities & Special Events

  • Trips to Longwood Gardens & Other Sites of Interest - group activities that promote wellness through immersion in nature and camaraderie.
  • Halloween Party - an activity specially designed for children who are HIV+, or part of a family affected by HIV/AIDS, that features a haunted house, games, crafts and other festivities.
  • Children's Camp - an opportunity for children aged 6 to 12 who either are HIV+ or in families affected by the virus to enjoy structured play, crafts and other activities.
  • World AIDS Awareness Day - an inspirational program that celebrates the lives of people living with HIV and honors the memory of those who have died.
  • Thanksgiving Dinner Program - a program that provides holiday meals and nutritional information to families affected by HIV/AIDS so as to nurture them physically and spiritually.
  • AIDS Walk - an annual fundraising event sponsored by the AIDS Fund for which Siloam recruits participants and distributes information about our services.
