Body-work experiences with certified practitioners that promote centering, strength, flexibility, awareness of body, help with stress management and relaxation, all of which connect individuals access to their spirituality.

  • Massage is the practice of manipulating the body with pressure using the hands or mechanical aids. The benefits of massage include easing pain, lowering blood pressure, reducing anxiety and blood pressure, and providing an opportunity for persons to experience the power of loving human touch.   • Mindfulness Meditation/Relaxation & Visualization
  • Reflexology is the practice of applying firm but gentle pressure to specific reflex points on the feet or hands, stimulating and releasing vital energy throughout the body. This promotes the body's ability to function naturally and reduces stress by placing the body in a deep sense of relaxation. Please call for an appointment.
  • Reiki, a Japanese word for "Universal Life Force Energy," is the ancient art of unlocking energy sources within the body, creating a freer flow of natural health and creativity. It is a technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes happiness and healing. Please call for an appointment.
  • Shiatsu, also known as acupressure, is a finger-pressure massage technique. The therapist applies pressure with his or her thumbs, fingers and palms to specific areas of the body that have been determined during an assessment period before the massage session. Massage techniques like tapping, squeezing, rubbing and applied pressure are used along the meridians to release energy blockages and reintroduce the optimal flow of blood.   • Tai chi is a form of moving meditation. It focuses the mind solely on the movements of the form to help bring about a state of mental calmness and clarity. Tai chi techniques involve a slow and repetitive process that gently and measurably increases and opens the internal circulation (breath, body heat, blood, lymph, peristalsis, etc.). Offered every Wednesday evening from 5:30 t0 6:30 PM.

Yoga

Yoga is a ritual system of breathing exercises and physical postures that promotes mental, emotional, physical and spiritual wellness. The postures are derived from or based on Hindu yoga.

Classes are held every Monday at 5:30 pm and Thursday at 2:45 pm in the first floor of our building.
